except mustangs are and the c63 is almost if not as good in someways as a motering icon(M3) and the c63/m3/rs4 are some of the best handling cars in the world and should never be compared to an American muscle car… they are meant for road use and tracks like the nurburgring or spa gp…

But AUDI power is in winter when you really need Quattro to experience full fun on snow. You are right Merc is for German Autobahns – fast, stable, soft = comfort. Well Bimmer is fun to drive in town because of its manoeuvrability which is better than most of a regular street cars…

the hardtop attachments for the convertible M3′s are completely disgusting. im not a bmw guy anyway, but it looks great as the coupe, but when you get the convertible with that hardtop, its repulsive

AMG is crazy its not a car to go racing its a car just for German autobahns not for racing in tracks. Its just straight line speed. They cant beat BMW on the track no one can. History, experience and refinment BMW. they have been doing it for 25 years. MERC and AUDI are just trying to take a share of the marked.

You can compare a coupe to two sedans, of course the coupe will win, its lighter. The m3 sedan is slower.
Personally my favorite is the Audi. Second would be the m3, but the sedan isnt nearly as good looking as the coupe. The mercedes is just too attention seeking
