which is better and why ? i know a 5 sereis is sportier but i need to know about quality and luxury?
e63 amg is 10x more sportier than a bmw 5-series. if you can afford the e63amg then go for it, looks better, it is more luxurious, faster, handles better, and better built than a bmw 5 series. bad part is that 2009 e63 amg cost around $75k (brand new summer 2008 was close to $100k), while 5-series will be around $50k. personally i think the e63 looks so much better than the 5-series also. good luck with your choice.

If it were me, I’d definitely go with the Benz. I was recently in the market for a new one and seriously considered the E63. The test drive was AWESOME!!! My problem was with the gas mileage. I just can’t see getting 17 mpg these days. If that isn’t a consideration for you, definitely go with the Benz.

E63 AMG is about the same price as BMW M5 but got more horsepower and V10.
E63 2010 have a brand new look but M5 2010 looks the same as last year’s model.
Even between BMW 7 series and E63 AMG, I would still pick E63 AMG.

AMG is a fast, fast car that’s modified by AMG (now a division of Mercedes), it’s one fast ride. The BMW equivalent is the "M" series. I personally like the AMG Mercedes series, and if you’re the sporty type, opt for the AMG.

If you can afford the E63 there’s no contest. You might want to get one that’s 2008 or 2009. New model Mercedes tend to develop unexpected issues in the first 2 years of production. When they do this it’s likely that they will spend weeks at the dealer waiting for parts.

"5 series and E63 amg" is comparing an apple to an orange. Did you mean an M5? Because an amg is wayyy more sporty than a normal 5 series.
