I am trying to find any performance parts for my 2001 audi I am trying to find any part to increase hp in any part, so far I can’t find much in the field of headers or any other performance parts any help?
PES-tuning has an ECU upgrade and a supercharger upgrade. The ECU will get you up to 209 hp and 220 tq. The supercharger will get you to 295/270. Im sure other companies make chips for your car but you need to do your research.
I want to sell my S reg BMW but some silly twat has nicked one of the small grills from the front by the number plate. A friend said I should try going to a car scrap yard to find a replacement grill but I think the chances of me finding one that fits exactly will be very unlikely. Would a BMW garage be able to find one for me?
LOL, I take it you are British, as you use the word TWAT so elegantly.
Forget about bmw dealers unless you like getting ripped off, call these guys:
Euro Carparts – 0208 956 5050 or German and Swedish – 0208 960 8182.
These guys do pretty much everything for BMW’s and they are fantastically priced. I bought the exact same part for my BMW last years, it coast £14.00.
Just make sure you have the cars details at hand i.e- Model (323) style (coupe/Compact) year (S reg).
Also, these guys have distribution centers all over the UK.
In price and features. Which do you prefer?
Or suggest another similar car. Although a Maserati is reaching…
S Klasse = BMW 7 Serie

E Klasse = BMW 5 Serie
C Klasse = BMW 3 Serie
CL Klasse = BMW 3 Serie coupe/cabrio
A Klasse = BMW 1 Serie
G Klasse = BMW X Serie
M Klasse = bmw X Serie
trust me, i know this stuff…
please help!
This question has been asked on here so many times. Owners manuals are NOT free on the web or anywhere. Try www.alldatadiy.com for an online subscription to your manual. Maybe you can find something on eBay. Or your local auto parts store can supply a Haynes or Chilton Manual for about $20. A factory shop manual is available for about $100. from www.helminc.com.
The piece I need is the cast piece that goes from the control arm to the ball joint – they do not make these any more and I need one for the quattro 90.
i linked 3 good sources. the first two offer new and used parts and the third only new.
I just bought my first car, a 1993 bmw, and I was wondering if parts are outrageously expensive. Does anyone know?
They can be. It is the labor that makes it expensive. This is not a car for a DIY’er with limited skills.
I am about to buy a 2006 5 series with 51,000 miles on it. What do I have to do to keep it running great? What should I ask before buying it as far as recent maintenance goes?
Before you buy, you should:
1. Run a CarFax report to get some background history.
2. Ask for the car’ maintenance records
3. Do a through test drive
4. If you’re mechanically inclined, check all of the fluids under the hood, if not TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC. If they owner won’t let you, then look elsewhere.
5. Check for recalls
6. Check for tire wear, rust, interior wear (if these are unusually high, odometer could have been rolled back).
7. See if Service 1 has been done. It should be done at 35 or 40K miles, I believe.
Watch the following videos for more detailed information on checking out the car and negotiating.

I’m being quoted $370 which seems outrageous since the part is about $30
If the part is $30 then you should probably pay around $100 because labor rates can run from $70-$90 per hour, and it’s probably rated at one hour because they have to drain the radiator and refill it again etc. $370 sounds more than little high.
i think i need the dash kit and a wire harness? cause i know i have a bose sound system in my car and i want to replace it with an after market radio but i dont know what parts i need
you need to go to crutchfield.com and put in your cars info— on the left hand side of the screen under "shop", you want to highlight "car audio and video" then click on "outfit my car" and put in your cars info and it will show you what fits and what you can do to make it fit–
their prices are a little higher but its worth it because they have the best customer service out there and when you order from them you get about $130 worth of free installation gear
Free installation guides
Free audi A4 In-dash Receiver Kit
Free Audi Wiring Harness
Free Antenna Adapter
I am specifically at this time looking for banjo bolts for the fuel line connections and a few other engine componets.
